How does this app work
- Open the CheckBAC app
- Power Up Handheld Breathalyzer.
- Ensure App is connected to the Breathalyzer (Indication varies by device)
- Select “Start Test”from the app
- Hold Phone so an image of your face is captured
- Provide Sample once prompted by the app
- Blow until you feel the Breathalyzer click
- Wait for Sample to be analyzed
- View Results
- Press “OK”
Breathalyzer wont connect to my app.
- Confirm the battery in the Handheld Breathalyzer is fresh, replace the battery if necessary.

- Power Cycle the Breathalyzer with the app open

- Ensure the phone’s bluetooth is on if it is not, turn on, If it is already on, toggle off momentarily, then toggle back on.

- Force the app closed, reopen the app, then power up the handheld breathalyzer.

- Make sure all app permissions are “allowed” on the smartphone.
Make sure Location settings are set to “Always allow, or Allow while using app”

- Uninstall the app, then reinstall, login

- If problem persists, Schedule Calibration for Breathalyzer, it will be inspected and confirm operation
Calibrate my Bluetooth Breathalyzer
(FLOW): Blow Error
The device detected an issue while you were presenting your sample. This could be from blowing too softly, not continuously, not long enough, or incorrectly.
Power off the handheld breathalyzer, wait a few seconds, power back on, then try another sample
(ERR1) : Pressure sensor error –
Ensure you are not providing sample too early, if the problem persists, contact Customer Support
If the problem persists, the device must be returned for calibration/inspection. Replacement device arrangements should be made based on warranty status.
(ERR2) : Sensor error –

(ERR3) : Temperature Error (Out of Operational temperature range)
This indicates that you are using your breathalyzer in extreme temperature conditions. Take your breathalyzer to a climate controlled area and allow it to warm up or cool down. Once the unit temperature is between 23° F and 120° F return to the vehicle and attempt to test. To avoid this error always take your breathalyzer with you when not in your vehicle.
